Learn the Communication Tools of the 21st Century in the Department of Film and Media.
Emory Film and Media offers an individually-tailored, undergraduate-centered curriculum within a major research university in the heart of Atlanta—the "Hollywood of the South." We train students to be observant, analytical, and articulate media-literate citizens of the globalized 21st century with multiple paths of study that provide solid grounding in film and media history, theory and production. Our world-renowned faculty of scholars and artists introduce Emory students to a diverse array of voices, encourage creative risk-taking, and provide close mentorship so they can articulate and envision their own place in, and perspective on, the contemporary media landscape.
