Larkin Ford Visiting Assistant Professor

Larkin Ford is a Teaching Artist at the High Museum of Art, a Visiting Assistant Professor at Emory University, and a practicing studio artist. Ford grew up in rural North Carolina and weaves this and other personal experience into enigmatic narratives through drawings and paintings. He received his BFA from UNC Asheville and his MFA from Georgia State University. Ford has taught Drawing and Painting at Emory University’s Oxford campus, GSU, and the High Museum of Art. Ford frequently displays paintings at Cat Eye Creative in Decatur and at Echo Contemporary Art. He has also exhibited work at MOCA GA, Marietta Cobb Museum of Art, Kai Lin Art, Whitespace, and Swan Coach House Gallery, and internationally in Ireland, Japan, and Belarus.
