Sara Ghazi AsadollahiInstructor

Sara Ghazi Asadollahi is an Iranian-born artist based in Atlanta whose interdisciplinary practice spans painting, sculpture, and video. Her work approaches abstraction as a method for rethinking the visual logic of both contemporary art and the moving image, challenging conventional forms and spatial perception. She has exhibited in solo and group shows throughout Iran, Europe, and the United States, and is a 2024 recipient of the Reiser Atlanta Artists Lab residency at the Alliance Theatre. Sara holds an MA in Painting, an MFA from Washington University in St. Louis, and is currently a PhD candidate in Film Studies at Georgia State University
